CANCELLATION/REFUND & LATENESS POLICY
FULL REFUND FOR CANCELLATIONS – REQUIRES AT LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR NOTICE:
If for some reason you must CANCEL a prepaid session, we do require notification, by email, at least 24 hours PRIOR to the session’s start time to be eligible for a refund. Please email Connect@tarheeltutors.com to inform us of a cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receipt.
RESCHEDULING – REQUIRES AT LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR NOTICE:
We understand that sometimes schedules change. If for some reason you wish to RESCHEDULE a prepaid session, please notify us by email at Connect@tarheeltutors.com at least 24 hours PRIOR to the session’s start time. All efforts will be made from the time notice is provided to reschedule the lesson at an agreed upon date and time with the tutor.
LATENESS:
Please know that our Tar Heel Tutors have very tight schedules and are in demand by many families and students. Sessions are often booked back to back. Therefore it is important that students be on time for all scheduled tutoring sessions.
Tutors are required to wait 15 minutes for a late student before marking the appointment as a “no-show”. Students who arrive under 15 minutes late will only be tutored for the remainder of the scheduled session.
Tar Heel Tutors, Inc. reserves the right to charge the client the full fee for a scheduled lesson if adequate notice as described above is not provided.
